Actor moms say all the time that being a mother is their greatest role. Finally I understand wholeheartedly the true meaning behind it. My son Parks was born on May 16th. Parks is a healthy and energized little boy who loves being outdoors (he had his first boat ride at 4 days old!). I’m so blessed to have him in my life and I’m very grateful to have a chance to show him how exciting life is!

As you know, I’ve been developing Kalevala the Musical as well. Kalevala the musical is my “other” baby that I care very deeply as one of the cast member and co-producer. I’m thrilled to let you know that this upcoming Friday, Kalevala is going to have its first official staged reading presentation at the Signature Theatre in Times Square at 3pm. We will present an abridged version of the musical followed by a Q&A and discussion of first impressions. The reading is not open to public, but I do have some seats available, so if you’d like to attend, please let me know and I will reserve you a seat (first come first served basis!).

Last but not least, if you are spiritual and like podcasts, I have a great recommendation for you! Kristin Hanggi and Natalie Roy have created a podcast about living life on purpose. It’s an inspiring and fun podcast that will lift you up. Click here to find out more about Let’s Play: The Create Podcast.

Warmly,
Kristi
