The Month Of Truth – Joy, Kindness And Love!

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and your spirit is ready for the Holiday Season!

Without question, it is my favorite time of the year, not just because of the beautiful holiday music and the fact that New York City’s looking beyond stunning with its Christmas decorations and a tree with 50,000 lights at the Rockefeller Center. What I love most is the essence of it, all over the world – joy, kindness and love!

In fact, I feel particularly joyful because I got to be a part of another dramatic short film “The Falling,” which will be submitted to the festivals, as well. This time I was playing a compassionate young married woman who’s dealing with a troubled brother-in-law while expecting her first child. I can’t tell you how much fun I had when the temperature dropped to 50 F at night time and I had to shoot a scene on a fire escape in bare feet and a summer dress. You must be thinking I’m crazy to love something like that, but the truth is, it was thrilling because I got to do what I love!

On a personal note, I’ve decided that the month of December will be my month of truth. In keeping with that, I have a little confession: I’m now taking meetings with TV, Film, and Theatrical agencies. If you have a referral or an idea about whom I should reach out to, I’d love any input or advice you have to offer. I’m all about teamwork! As one of my colleagues likes to say: “It takes a village to raise a dream!”

Last but not least, I’m co-organizing the screening of the Estonian Oscar contender, Mother, at the Scandinavia House. It will be on December 7 at 7:00 p.m., followed by a reception. I have a few tickets left, so let me know if you would like to attend the screening and reception. I will add you to my list! Click here to read more about it.

Happy Holiday Season,
Kristi
